Where is the music?

I wander away from the hustle bustle of city life, not because I am the quiet type or that I like to be a villager. Technology, modernisation has made life more comfortable and pleasurable and I really do cherish that experience. I do like my life. I listen to trance and I like to party once in a while. I enjoy my fast paced life, hurrying my way to work and bumping into people who are in a hurry too.

But what about the music? Where is the music that I wish to hear? In crowds? In clashing of steel? In honking of cars? In noise?
Where is the peace? Where do I find heavenly melody?

The wee hours of the morning just before sunrise are the most favorite minutes of my day. The whole world is sleeping. Birds are chirping. No cars, No movement. Only leaves rustling. I can hear the wind, the trees and the sound of silence.
I am in the moment. Not in the past, not in the future. That is when I feel truly alive.

Not surprising that there is music in silence.

The world is exactly what we think...

It is the same road. Same auto. Same gate to cross. Same building to be entered. Same people. Same environment. Same work!

An old known place can seem different when our mind set is different. The same people begin to be right. Things look good somehow and the world seems a better place. What is this quality which alters how we feel about our surroundings which hasn't really changed at all?

It is our mind which has the ability to change everything. When we are sad, everything around us seems awful. No wonder then that suicides seem foolish to a happy person.

If the world is exactly the way we see it, what then should our thought process be? Is the right way to approach things is to look inside out or outside in?

Happiness, contentment and peace comes from within. The outside world is constantly only giving us what we ask for.. ask for grief and you will find it in plenty. Ask for joy and you will exactly attract it! I once heard some one say "I wake up every morning and decide that I'm gonna be happy today. That is the secret to being happy." Surely, nothing else works!

Perception matters. Really!
